It also happens for a candle with this type of wax when the temperature cools too quickly. This process is normal and doesn't affect the performance of your candle.

With reed diffusers it's very important to have it in the part of your house that gets the most airflow and make sure it's not in direct sunlight or that will affect the oil. To get the most out of your fragrance flip the reeds every 2 hours to get the most out of your fragrance. keep an eye on your reeds once they become too saturated it will be hard of it to pull from the diffuser.
